Who we are

Nature's Pleasures Pty Ltd ("Nature's Pleasures", "we", "us") operates naturespleasures.co.za. We are the responsible party for the personal information processed through this website, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Contact: [email protected] · WhatsApp 083 268 9640 · PO Box 59064, Durbanville, 7550, South Africa.

What we collect

Order information: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and the items you purchase — collected when you place an order or create an account.

Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers (Paystack and PayFast). Your card details are entered on their secure platforms and are never stored on our servers.

Subscription details: if you join the Nature's Pleasures Club, our payment provider stores a secure billing token to process your monthly payment. We store your subscription status and history.

Support messages: if you contact us by email, WhatsApp or our website chat assistant, we keep the conversation so we can help you.

Usage data and cookies: we use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your session, and measure advertising (Meta Pixel and Google Ads). These tools may collect your device information and browsing activity on our site.

Why we use it

To process and deliver your orders, manage your account and subscription, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, meet our legal obligations, and — where you have opted in or where permitted — send you marketing you can opt out of at any time (every email includes an unsubscribe link).

Who we share it with

Only service providers who need it to serve you: payment processors (Paystack, PayFast), couriers (including The Courier Guy) for delivery, our email service provider for order and marketing emails, and our website hosting providers. We never sell your personal information.

Some of our service providers store data outside South Africa. We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard consistent with POPIA.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept as required by South African tax and consumer legislation. Account information is kept while your account is active. You may ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep.

Your rights under POPIA

You may ask us at any time to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct it; delete it (where we are not required to keep it); or object to direct marketing. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If you believe we have processed your information unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za.

Security

Our website is served over HTTPS, payment details are handled only by accredited payment providers, and access to customer data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, appropriate measures to protect your information as POPIA requires.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with its effective date.
